This Tawny Owl flew into a set up I was at, which I wasn't expecting, as they are nocturnal....I liked the pose here, as it showed the feather detail along the back of the owl, and just enough head turn.... It was raining, hence the SS, but, not enough rain in the frame, to have an impact, and I removed the few rain streaks that were present....Cropped for comp, this being about 80% of the original....I would have liked more room at the bottom, to put the bird higher in the frame.....Bare lens would have been better, I had been photographing smaller woodland birds with the 1.4 attached......Gimbal Head attached to a plate...ACR, Topaz DN and PS.
