Hi folks,
An ODKF gets a meal for its young ones in Mangaon, Maharashtra, India. This was photographed in pouring rain and in natural settings. No hide. Perch is natural too. I used an umbrella to cover myself and the gear with rain cover to get this. Used Tripod and gimbal.

You did pretty well in the circumstances. The gecko is nearly as big as the bird. Did you think about taking a bit off the bottom?

Hi Sanjeev your patience paid well ... glad you had the umberlla :bg3:
Super cool image with the species of Skink ( not Gecko ) as prey in that beak , stunning what they are able to catch and even kill . Hope the youngster manage to swallow that large piece of food :bg3:.
Comp does work very well and the perch / posing is nice .
As like the previous KF image i wish for a better IQ to be honest ... but without seeing the RAW it might be difficult to " judge " . Perch does look very smudgy on the low side .
The subject and its colors are looking great .

Andreas, thanks for the feedback. I will look into the IQ issue. Maybe the NR settings could be the culprit. I havre not done anything to the perch.
