Really nice Ted, great work with the light and the action here.
Great seeing you guys today.
Great light and moment, love the composition but would corrct the horizon a bit. Congrats!
Lovely light, pose and detail! Would agree it needs a little CW rotation.
Steve
Thanks for the suggestions-I will re visit the CW rotation.
Sharp, with a nice angle to the bird. Bummer about the shell right behind the bird's bill...Using a Double Bubble Level
(http://www.birdsasart.com/accs.html#BUBBLE) in the camera's hot shoe is especially important when working very low as it is impossible to correctly judge square to the world with your head at a severe angle to the viewfinder. Lastly, in this case working a bit higher would have eleminated the merge of the background vegetation with the bird's back...
Congratuylations I have been hoping to see these babies for the past four weeks but with no success. Wonderful capture of this juvie in wonderful lighting and low angle. I agree about the cw rotation. Thanks for sharing. and again congrats. I am suffering a little envy < smile >
Nice light on this Ted.. we had some good opportunities.
