Very fast flyers indeed. It looks like he's hopping down to his burrow. Nice wing position.
Hi Jon, on this one, while the pose on the subject is solid the busy..... everything else makes it hard to appreciate for what it is. There just isn't a ton of separation to make the subject stand out.
Additionally, the whole frame just feels a bit flat for me. Just not one of the great ones from you IMO, but hope there's more.
Looks under exposed Jon....I'm sure a few tweaks here and there, will make a big difference.....

Hi Jon ... this is a tough one , as the bird is not really seperated from BG .
Overall too dark for my taste ... color matter of taste , should go warmer IMHO.
Bird itself looks good in terms of sharp details .

Thanks everyone much appreciated.
Can't add much beyond what others have said; bird is simply overpowered by the surroundings. But good work getting him in flight. They are surprisingly fast!
Hi Jon, most has been already been covered, but the cast in the whites are affecting adjacent colours. Resolve this and the colours with a simple tweak will be more reflect full and less 'flat'.
