Hard to believe it's already time to think about posting Ducks as the winter approaches.
This Pintail Drake was consistently on the river just before a small waterfall last winter. This particular morning the light was reflecting beautifully allowing me to capture the serenity of the moment.

LR and PS, topaz. Did a little cleanup in the bkg to blend the shoreline. Went a little stronger in the mid tones on this one as feedback has consistently seemed to be that my frames are a touch thin.
In case you might comment on the blacks in the wings, because of the way it was exposed, there really wasn't anything there to restore IMO - they were a bit 'chocked', as it were.

Hi Brian ... glad you are still posting an " oldie " :bg3:
A very clean and simple looking frame , a typical Brian if situation allows .
I do like the overall presentation ... looking very nice in terms of color / tone with the low POV taking this up a notch . DOF is really cool ...
I am a bit unsure about the comp , the subject might sit too central .... for my taste . I would move it ( rule of thirds ) downwards

Capture the serenity you did. I really like the image, beautiful colors, sharp with a pure background. Thank you for sharing, Brian.
