One from earlier this year at Fort DeSoto North Beach when I met up with Gail and Ann. A bit too early for full breeding plumage, but I still enjoyed seeing some colour in the bird

Hi Mike, nice image of a Red Knot. I like the wing position, colors and detail look good, wonderful Ft. DeSoto light. Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful pose you captured here Mike....Good POV....I may try reducing the highlights a wee bit especially on the underwing....

You're right Will, it is a little bright

That's better
Hi Mike ... lovely shot with the wings lifted , nicely timed .
i do like the overall appearance of color , tones , details and sharpness ... well processed .
would prefer a bit more overall tonal depth across the whole range .... but not executed globally . just use three layers and push them individually :S3: ... just a thought from my side .
nice one and tfs Andreas
Nice shot Mike, a little too bright for me, repost is better.
Fabulous wings-up pose with great detail. Love the transitional plumage. RP helps.
Ooh, love this, especially the repost! The only thing is that as posted the head seems oversharpened. The raised wings and combination of pale blues and beautiful oranges make this quite an appealing image.
Stellar as noted above. Was this after a bath or was it a takeoff or a wind raise? With love, a
love the dynamic wing position with soft overall light. excellent IQ and details too
