Hi Andreas, nice framing, I like the slight curl of the tail and the open mouth snarl, he's not being aggressive, think it's more of the bugs, bugging him.
Now, viewing on the new MBP so... IQ looks a bit off and the colour a little flat, but obviously its getting towards twilight so it wont be super rich & saturated, but you still pull stuff out of the bag. Like the low POV, but a fraction more at the foot would be nice IMHO.
Hope you had a good time at Helgoland.

Thanks Steve ... not sure why the IQ is off ???
Think the colors are alright fitting to the twilight scene , IMHO , could have pushed it for sure .
No more room at the foot and yes the bugs annoyed him .... not me :bg3:
Just arrived today on Helgoland .... lots of Gannets , but when the good time of light came .... no more sun . But have some days to come ....
Cheers Andreas

It look absolutely amazing to me - in the positive sense. The colours and detail look ideal the pose of the lion is very interesting, the selective sharpening and clean background looks top class. I am not picking up on any sort of deficiency in terms of quality whatsoever. Technically it looks perfectomondo to me. As an image it looks very visually appealing.
