I am still photographing these birds from the shore in my hometown..... along with the Razorbills, which, for some unknown reasons, have come close to shore....They would have been born on the nearby Isle of May, but usually go far out into the Atlantic Ocean/North Sea to feed....This is the first time they have come so close.....Climate change!!! who knows...

Cool frame. Low the pose and that wave in the foreground.

Love this one Will. The head turn saves it from being a "view of the back" image. The glassy water in the foreground provides such a nice contrast to the bird. Lovely feather detail here, nice and sharp and processed beautifully. Love how the bird is set between the lower sharp and oof upper water sections.

Will, a fun frame. I love the tonal range and the sharpness, despite the shake.
Framed nicely between the wake and glad the beak cleared the upper. Seems like a minor thing but it works well like that.
Good look at the eye too... TFS!

I might like this one more with a "squarer" framing but nice sharpness and activity by this little guy. TFS.

Congrats on an excellent image made in a difficult and unique situation. And thanks to the bird for the properly executed with a view of the face and eye.
