I like the action, flying water, darker background.
I might consider an exposure gradient from the bottom up to the water level where the bird is, to reduce the impact of the rippled reflection.
The nictitating membrane is closed, making the eye a bit dull. Could darken the pupil a bit to give it a bit more snap, if you are comfortable with that.

Kurt, the action is neat here. You've really had a go with the Snowy's lately!
Nice that we can still see the pupil of the eye through the water. The dramatic effect enhances it for sure.
I think this one is just a bit softer than your normal quality but close. A slightly better light angle could have also helped.
Perhaps a version with a touch off the bottom and add to top could help.
I like this way more than I thought I would from looking at the thumbnail. Super cool action. I agree with darkening the pupil, and perhaps less canvas below (worth a try). The dark BG really has this snowy standing out in a great way.
