This foraging individual was surrounded by an interesting pastel shade of cyan/blue caused by an oddly hazy and very thinly covered mid-morning light a couple of weeks ago. One of those days where you could look directly into the sun without burning your eyes:c3:
Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld while lying prone in the shallow water, about 85% FF.

Hi Daniel ... lovely image .
Love the colors and the tonal range , very nice to see the plants breaking the uniformity of the FG/BG .
Super low POV and the movement of the subject is just very cool

I REALLY LIKE the color palette and the POV. The random weeds poking up works well here IMO. TFS.

Nice Dan love the blues and pastel look. As mentioned I think the reeds add to the image along with the green. That is the kind of light we live for makes a great image. Framing is right on. TFS

Thia is a gorgeous frame Daniel. I love the low POV, the foraging pose and the few blades of grass in the BG.
No nits from me!

A peaceful image for sure. Nice frame all around. The grasses make this for me.
