Here, a little looser in frame to highlight some fun layers of color.

The color palette can’t be beat and I love the down-the-barrel pose. I think you could do with a bit of crop from the bottom. I’d love to have an opportunity with these birds one day.

Tough to beat those BG and FG colours! Nice stare-down too with those glowing red eyes. I too could see a bit off the bottom, but gotta be careful with where the reflection ends up. Cool frame man!

Brian....another beauty .....The BG and FG colours are beautiful.....I like the crop as is...the bird, with those red eyes looking into the camera....wow......Lovely feather detail....for me the red eye stare makes this a 'cracker'.....I can just imagine what this would look like printed large....
Great work.

What a background. Love those colors. Also love the water melting into that gorgeous color. I do like the low angle and the framing.

the color palette of this frame is very engaging and pretty. I like the head on view, I'd go for a tighter crop without losing the beautiful colors. did I mention the soft colors?

" Excuse me " ?! .... amigo :w3 , is it maybe possible that this gorgeous FG/BG with those lovely colors could stand a " tiny bit" :t3 more Oomph as a possible good looking alternative ???!!!
Brian you will for sure understand what I am talking about ... I tried on the low res file with the channel mixer move , but was ending up in posterization . With the tif it will work flawlessly .
Super cool image ... a typical SUMP !!
Well done in the field and in the darkroom

Really thankful for everyone's comments!
RE crop, totally can see versions with a bit off bottom. Arash, trying to express a bit differently as I often come in tight but I'm typically with you on that preference for sure.
Andreas, appreciate that my friend. I went past this on the 'oomph' in one version, but was worried I overdid it so pulled it back. Thanks for the kick in the pants!!!
