From last week trip to El Cielo reserve in Tamaulipas Mexico, conditions were not ideal, lots of rain.

Great find, details and soft light and a very nice habitat. I might be tempted to clone out the OOF branch in the upper right if that is something you do. I don't think I've seen this species before, thanks for sharing!
Cool looking bird, interesting plumage, nice pose and sharpness. Thanks for sharing it!
Nice looking bird. Very nice sharp detail. Love the light too.

Hi Fernando. Great shot! Very smooth background at that high ISO! Very sharp. Great bird also, I would love to see one. I see one leaf entering the frame on the upper right that could easily be removed (I had to find something!). Love it! Dan Brown
Thanks for your comments, since I donīt have any flash, used high ISO then cleaned the image using Neat Image. I really donīt know how to remove the distracting leaf without traces !
Good job on the noise Fernanado! I used the patch tool and the clone tool on the leaf at the top right and just the clone tool only on the bottom right leaf. This would be much easier to do before you add your framing borders by the way.

Like it a lot Fernando! I might be tempted to set new black and white points in levels. Something like this. Thanks for posting!
Love Dougs repost - nice bird - Congrats
Fernando, I really like your image. Interesting bird, nice perch, and well composed. Some background elements may not be ideal, but I don't feel that they take away from the overall image. Good job in tough conditions.
I like the "jungle" feel. The habitat is an important part of this image for me. Very cool species!
Such a cool species. The latest repost looks great.
Fernando, I've been trying to photograph this guy for some time now, but it is so hard since they move a lot and are most of the time on the lower levels of forest.
You did really well, I believe both versions are fine, but I believe Doug's version has a purplish look, at least on my monitor, this bird presents only two colors, black black, and white white. Great find.
I've admired this bird in field guides for years and so it's a big treat to see it in the flesh. Congratulations on a very nice image and I can imagine how difficult it is to capture this species. I like the lighting, composition, sharpness, in fact everything about this image. The subject overpowers the habitat so I'm not at all distracted by the BG.
Great pose and excellent sharpness around the face - very coll bird too.
