Marsh Wren Being Loud As Usual.
The water levels along the river have been really low this spring. This allowed me to wade in very far into the marshes without worrying about sinking to my knees in the muck. Or having to wear hip or chest waders (both of which I do not like). Of course the Marsh Wrens, usually not seen from the edge, are all to eager to announce their presence by song and by popping up higher onto reeds when one is so deep into their habitat! This is one of a few individuals that made appearances for me that morning.
Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/4, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, FF, a distracting strand of webbing removed on top of the wren's head.
