There is a nursery in Hartebeespoort Dam that stocks Aloes and is called the Aloe Farm. It attracts all sorts of Sunbirds where one can just walk around and photograph them as they feed off the Aloes. At the back of the nursery is an embankment where a colony of White Fronted Bee Eaters have nesting holes for breeding. There is no hide, so one justs needs to keep a distance, stay fairly still and shoot away at all the activity that goes on. Here are two Bee Eaters that could be male and female sharing some quality time together. ( I cannot tell the difference between male and female ) The two darker lines on either side of them are nesting holes. Taken early morning

Those birds really pop against that dirt. Neat looking birds. I like the framing. The fanned out tail on the right bird is pretty neat. Nice to see you posting.

Neat image love the colors and the HA is good. They just pop off of that sand, dirt. As Artie mentioned great in the light. TFS

Yeah, agree with the others about the poses and colors. Everything really looks nice, especially with the 2X! Multiple bird frames are great; I only have a handful in my entire collection. Bonus points!

Lots of appealing colours here, and the dual poses look great. Vertical was the way to go for sure. I do wish this was posted larger for a better look at the beautiful birds!

Stu, really like the whole canvas here. Rich in colors, pure in texture and sweet to see both fully IF.
Very nicely done sir!
