Lovely image, John. The backlighting is a really unique and beautiful take on this behavior. I love the low angle and super-blurred background. Just enough detail on the birds to keep it interesting.
I like the flare and the orange back light, I'd be tempted to add more contrast and pull a bit more details from the birds without losing the mood of the image.
TFS, interesting shot
Great picture the lighting couldn't be more perfect to capture this intimate moment, great pic well done
Love the backlit wings and the low angle! I agree about a touch more contrast, but still a great job!
I like the concept, I would also add contrast, dont word about blacks in an image like this,,
Love the mood here John. Certainly worth an early morning rise for this one. Back lighting and overall colours work so well here. Lovely interaction between the birds. I'm fine with the contrast as is.
Hi John .... a very nice image in romantic light :w3. Fitting very well to the romantic scene .
Would not change a thing .... for sure not bumping up contrast or adding any darker tones :t3
Cool work !!!
TFS Andreas
John, wonderful interaction and gorgeous use of the rim light.
Love this one, just a pleasure to view!
I like this one a thousand times more than the similar one you posted more recently. DATPCA. Getting super-low here was the key to success. And getting up early. I'd clean up what little debris is along the sand ridge, especially the thing that is sticking up just to our right of the bird.
with love artie
