Love the blues and the pose. And the lesser coverts. This is a young bird from last year. See how the median coverts are worn -- they are retained from the Juvenal plumage. The neatly patterned lesser coverts and the greater coverts are all new feathers.
All in all, well done.

The diagonal line the bird creates is very nice. I do like the blue water background. Nice and sharp with good detail.
