From Cape May Point last week. For the 2-1/2 days that we were there, northerly winds kept down the arrival of new migrant warblers, so there were very few species flitting around in the State Park and elsewhere. Still, any day I see a Blackburnian is a good day.

You sure like your warblers Bill and you have captured some lovely images....This one is no exception...What a great looking pose....I would try brightening up/lifting the shadows on the bird a wee bit...This bird is new to me, but the colours look good here..

I would clone in some vegetation in the RUC. My eye keeps moving to that blue area.

Well, I have never seen a good image of a warbler scratching. Until now. I do not mind the URC but would not mind if you smoothed it out a bit with the yellow/green. If it were mine I would clean up with white specks at the base of the bill and possibly those below the yellow head stripe on the far side ...

Thank you all. Gail, I didn't pay much attention to the blue corner until I had posted this; I can easily clone in some green.
Artie, there was a white powdery coating on the leaves where he was actively feeding, some of which got on his face. It seems that Aphids form part of the diet of this species, and I think the white stuff is the residue from them. I cleaned off some of it before posting, but thought I should leave a bit of it, to recognize the natural history. Of course nobody but me would know, so I should probably do some more cleanup.
A warbler doing the Hulk Hogan "listening to the crowd" pose? Cool! Good vertical crop as well. I'd try 10-12 points more magentas in "Color Balance", but all else looks great to me.
