He's on clean-up duty. Usually late in the afternoon she will pop up in the woods and make her way to forage under the bird feeders. My favorite part of this image would be the wee bit of feathers that are wispy. Some posterization on jpeg.

A 4 x 5 crop for head shots is my preference.

Hi Ann ... a lovely head shot of these " freaky " looking birds .
Comp and the " inquisitive " look of the bird does work very well .
Details look ok ... but think the heavy tones are blocking more details :w3.
A shame that the fine feathers on the naked head are lost somehow ... might be due to compression and or NR with a special software :w3
