Super capture Kurt, i like the pose, the HA and the wee bit of wingtip motion... Lovely colors and great BG, wonderful!
Great capture...love Hummingbird shots...hope to see one one day! Maybe a tad sharpening needed in the eye and adjacent area?
Love the bird and the dive bomber flight pose. Bad luck with the BKGR as both the dark tones on the left and the light tones on the right distract quite a bit ... Pretty darned good without flash.
with love, a
Great pose. I like the framing. Color on the bird looks great.
I love the pose with the upturned tail and forward wings. I am fine with the BG
Agree with Paul that the eye could be sharpened a bit more.
This is a really nice frame!
Kurt, fantastic pose and beautiful iridescence.
Lighting is cool on this one (as in neat) and I like the transition personally.
Curious if maybe there's a smudge above the bill, below the wing?
love the bird, does not need any more sharpening, it's already sharp on my screen. pose is super dynamic but bummer about that BG.
this is one of the few frames where we can see a bit of rolling shutter artifact with A9 II in the wings, it's not bad at all and obviously no one else besides me could see it but it's there. with any other MLIC camera the wing would have become a staircase so this is already not bad. but the A1 is the camera that fully eliminates this effect by increasing readout speed from 1/160 sec to 1/260 sec. something to consider if you do a lot of hummer photography.
Awesome pic well done
