Volkan, a striking pose from an attractive subject here.
Like the thorny perch, albeit simple. Foliage on the perch would be super but at least a little interest from the thorns.
I find the tree coming in on the left a little distracting. Curious what others say. But I think the processing is nice and colors work well, esp the white on smooth green bkg.
Selam Brian, teşekkürler :)
When I became a member, it was not easy to get rid of my perspective. But I saw a light in myself, I hope they get better. The biggest contribution was 'learning to stay connected with nature'. I understood better that I had to be careful while taking the photo. Every subsequent intervention felt like a brushstroke. Nature is already perfect. Adding or deleting something on it now spoils the beauty for me :). You are precious . You added value. Greetings.
Just awesome EXP and details on this beauty with sweet BG. Would also make great vertical. TFS
Thorny perch is cool, and the direct stare is very nice. Exposure, detail, and sharpness all look good. However, the OOF stuff at top right is very distracting, and you'd ideally have lower, more direct illumination on the subject. That would get rid of the shadow on the perch.
I often say leave things alone why clone/content aware fill it's natural. In this case I would remove the leaf top left and probably the other one too. I think in this case they do not "add" but they do "subtract". The bird looks very good indeed, I am convinced a little fine adjustment of contrast and tweaking i.e. reduction of sharpening would reveal even better detail.
Thanks friends.
I will pay attention to your opinion :)
Neat subject and I like the thorns on the perch. As a compromise you could always "gaussian blur" those elements such as I did here. Not perfect, but not fully removed either. Can you spot what else I did?
Hi Daniel, yes I was impressed. I'll put this on my site with your permission :) front beak cleaning. thank you Daniel.
Nice bird.
Daniel fixed my biggest issue with the image which was the branch in front of the face.
I also see what looks to be cloning artifacts in the LLC. I would clone those areas up and clone out the vegetation on right side and do the gaussian blur as Daniel did on the vegetation on the left side.

A neat looking bird with a nice pose. Really like the thorns on the perch. Great backgroud.
Thanks Gail, valuable suggestions.
John :)
Lost the ugly leaf completely. Got that twig out of the bird's face. Selectively sharpened the eye and mask which made the mask blacker. A good thing from where I sit :)
with love, artie
ps: I like your new avatar. In the old one you looked 14 years old!
