I like the tight crop and open beak Marko! I would try to increase the brightness a bit in PP. You just don't get much range with pop-up flash.
Great composition, pose and the open bill adds to it. There is a slight sharpening halo around the lower mandible, which is easy to fix. It could go a tad brighter for my taste, too. Thanks for sharing!
Love the composition, good action with the open bill and wings. A little brighter takes this up a notch, well done!
thx guys for your kind comments......
@Doug....yes pop-up flash is not good solution.....but it was only solution at that moment ;).....
@Axel...... I noticed halo when you mentioned it :)........you have great eye
P.s.........I will calibrate my monitor....this is I think third image with comment "it could be little brighter" ;).....so it is time
The light is fantastic and the details too but the open beak makes the image, congrats Marko!!!
Love the action, very nice shot, even with the pop up flash it came out very good, Very. Congrats!
love the composition and the moody light!! great job shooting from the boat!!
Excellent detail, action and lighting in this capture. Really like your choice of cropping too Marko !!!
Fantastic composition, capturing the action. I like the open bill and the raised wings, great details and love the blue water...
Can you tell us how you sharpened this image??
Extraordinary expression, I like the crop a lot!
thx people...
@Maxis.....I am interested why are you asking....because is good or bad sharpening technique :) ... ....I sharpened it like most of my images for web....smart sharpen....radius-0,2...amount between 50-250%....I set the "Remove" box on "Lens Blur" and check the "More Accurate" box
I am not sure correct amount for this image...... I always sharpen background copy and then add layer mask and remove effect with various brush sizes from all OOF stuff and leave effect of sharpening on DOF created in camera.......hope you understand my english :)
