This long legged shorebird (willet) turned from the lagoon edge and started marching right at me with full early morning sun. Here working the mud flats in a field of white mangrove seedlings. This was the only frame from about 20 with bill clear of vegetation.

Nice low angle, I like the surroundings too. Good detail in the bird. I like the image.

I like the pose David, just wished the head was more to the viewer, rather than away and the rear foot not obscured?

Excellent angle, head turn is not ideal....

Nice frame.
Love the vegetation and strangely enough, the HA is fine for me.

Much too large in the frame and with the head turned away, this one is an inst-delete for me despite the sharpness and the detail.

Behavior and color are very nice, but he's too tight in the frame as Artie mentioned. Low angle is fantastic. Only way to show these birds! Detail on the legs is very nice.

A nice view of this willet. The low angle and light are right on. The blue background is very nice as well.

David, this is a really pretty overall frame. I like the vegetation a lot and you nailed the perspective.
I'd prefer a head angle closer to perpendicular personally, but appreciate this shot for what it is. Cropping points are worthwhile.
