Another Bobolink from a few days ago, captured in same grassland preserve, mid central NJ in the late afternoon with sun defused by smoke from west coast wildfires. C&C welcome.

What a great shot, just loving those colours. I don't think the bird is overexposed but I am confident if you lowered the luminosity on the yellows on the bird you would get better detail - (not that is is bad - just a little better).

Beautiful bird, beautiful setting, great far background but almost too much yellow for me. Would agree with Jonathan about trying to reduce luminosity or possibly even saturation of flowers.

Sweet frame in beautiful evening light. Great fluffed-up pose.

What a setting! This is a really pretty look at this lady. Bird is nicely exposed and very sharp. Eye contact is very nice. I agree about lowering the yellows a bit, more for the sake of the flowers than the bird.

Hi Geoffrey, a super image in a great setting. Nice placement in frame and I like the HA and slight glimpse of the leg.
The subject looks a bit soft, so a tad more USM wouldn't hurt. I would look at your WB, ie going a fraction cooler, it gives a lot more clarity somehow within the overall colours and detail comes back in. Perhaps you have added Vibrance I'm not sure, but in going cooler you can add some Saturation/Luminance of Yellow/Green no problem, it works. Perhaps blow in some negative exposure over the chest to bring some lighter ares down to bring back the detail.

Just love this canvas overall. Sweet complimentary flowers and just right BG to make everything pop. I love it... TFS

What a setting. The flowers make this one. Lovely frame.
