Nicely composed simetrical image, the curve of the back and neck of the buck leads the eye to its face. Is he molting? To me the OOF doe balances the frame. I think you should clone out the highlights in the ULC if possible, they are distracting, at least to me.
Good view of the shedding velvet, he must be itching like crazy, small arraes of fresh blood still on his antlers too. It's a nicely detailed shot I just wondered if a little more tonal contrast could be put into the coat?
I too like the composition here, something different:w3 The shedding velvet is interesting for me to see... but looks quite painful?
Agree with Dan on removing the white spots. As well as with Jon, a bit of tonal contrast... and I would also remove the green on the whites under the chin - often a reflection from the grass below but it doesn't add to the image.
