Hello everyone, thank you for your comments and suggestions to my previous post as always much appreciated.
Tried to pan on many occasions during my last trip when animals were crossing over or the light was low. It is a hit or miss thing, needs a lot of practice and proper technique but sometimes results turnout to be quite dramatic.
Looking forward for your comments and suggestions, be it of any nature.
Haseeb.

Yes it works for me, visually appealing, I suppose we could all suggest differing shutter speeds to make an effective movement of subject and background, I guess the real skill would be knowing which speed was ideal for the subject and magnification in the frame. Having said that if you knew how to make reproducible moving images like these it would take the fun out of it.

I like the sense of motion and the elephant on the right. Not so sure about the left two. The color is nice.

Fun to experiment Haseeb, but I do think something needs to be sharp, however having never really got to grips with this I'm not the best to ask, keep experimenting...

I like the way the elephants are blurred, it suggests movement, but I think that the eyes of the dominant one should be in focus. Can you leave some more space for them to run into, because right now it feels a bit unbalanced?

Dear Haseeb,
Hope all is well on your side, glad to see you manage to find time to experiment and produce some interesting images:w3
What strikes me here most is the colours and sense of movement. I know opinions are divided when it comes to panning... but somehow I too believe something must be sharp for the image to 'grab me more'.
Having said this, I still think you are on the right track and should experiment again when you have the chance.
Must have been fun to watch those eles, they are so cute! Maybe a tad more SS would have done the trick, don't know for sure...
