A good, solid image!
A bit more noise reduction in the BG would be a good thing. You could also consider painting the lighter blue circle just below the bird.

John, very simple yet beautiful Gull frame.
Gail makes a great point about a little noise red on the bkg.
May I ask what process you use to mask the bird (presume you did here)? I only ask because the outline of the bird seems very rigid or defined and I was thinking some feathering could help. Might just be my eyes or the way the lighting painted the gull's silhouette.
