Hi Joe. Beautiful colors of bird and background. I love the range of feather sizes on these guys. Nice pose. Might use just a touch of selective sharpening on the top of the head where the DOF fell off.

Strong stare, great detail, and beautiful colors, but I think you're really caught in no-man's land with the crop. It's either gotta be a tighter headshot or a looser body which includes the full legs.

The color and feathers on the bird look very nice. Agree about the crop. All the bird or more tight of a portrait.
