Captured this image in June of 2017 at a local grassland. I have posted this before, but did a bit of reprocessing for this months theme. Male Bobolinks being predominantly black, I thought it might be suitable. C&C welcome.
Nicely done. It's so hard to capture these guys, and especially to show the blacks, yellows and whites with detail. Good head turn, and habitat.

Very nice Geoffrey...As bill said, you have details on all colours on the bird. The FG and BG colours show the bird nicely.

Hi Geoffrey, again I like the pose and habitat but can't help feel it's looking quite warm, with a orange/red tinge, di you up the Vibrance? I might also try to open up the blacks to allow some of the nicer detail to come through.
I've perhaps pushed the greens a bit more than they need to be, but hopefully you can see the difference and where you can achieve greater separation within the habitat, creating more layering/detail, but your call as you were there. Hope it helps. :w3

Love these birds!
I like the pose, head angle and the environment.
The flared tail look nice.
