These five were part of a much larger group of fledged Purple Martins that were perching and flying everywhere. This particular fivesome looked good all lined up diagonally on a maple branch. Closing the aperture two full stops to make sure all five were sharp, and waiting for cooperation on good head angles from all were two important things to think about to make it a successful frame. At least they stayed there for a while!
