Under the current circumstances I haven't been getting out much recently, especially with our State and County Parks closed until several days ago. In particular, I've been missing out on early warbler migration. A south wind brought some activity on Sunday morning, when I heard lots of arriving warblers at a local preserve, but couldn't get any decent shots of them. Made a somewhat longer trek down to Brigantine (Forsythe NWR) early yesterday morning and got a few. Here's one of several cooperating Yellowthroats.

Beautiful bird, pose, and head angle. And I love the soft light. Was this from the car?

They are really hard to get on a nice perch, this is nice.
The BG is really good with the OOF reeds.
Maybe hold the blacks and lower everything else a tad?

Sweet pose, perch, and BG. Nice detail on the wing especially. I might drop the EXP / HLs on the yellow throat. There are some maybe sharpening artifacts, a bit of green, on the tail that could be removed -- just a bit of maybe color noise, not entirely sure. Wish this was mine. I've struck out on these guys locally the past couple of days. Very challenging to get them out in the open. TFS

Neat capture, Bill. Beautiful light, excellent pose, and especially like the partially open beak. Great detail as well.
I created this re-post the other day and forgot to post it. I did some work on the YELLOWs as Alex suggested, cleaned up the end of the perch, and did a bit of eye-doctor work as well.

Thank you. Better. I had done some desat of the yellows and reduced the exposure in the OP, but I guess not quite enough. I appreciate your taking the time. Stay safe.
