The Gannets have now returned to the Bass Rock...This is the closest I have seen them come to the shore in my home town. This was captured from my balcony(a change from Gulls)...There must be plenty fish close to shore, which is a good thing.

Nice wing position.
The problem with gannet shots from land is that they are always looking away at the ocean (away from us landlubbers) for fish.
Obviously a natural and proper natural thing but I wish they would look at the photographer every once in a while!:S3:
I would move the gannet to the left of the frame a little bit.
