Hi folks ... today I do post a relatively " rare " type of grey seal shot .
Found this pup lying in the large sea of algae .... in winter 2016 there has been strong storms around Helgoland so a lot of the algae's has been floated to the beach .
Mum was close by .. just out of sight .
This time I worked a bit with a gradient and a vignette .... first time in Capture One . PS work was very simple .... just two layers and downsized .

Love the seal pup wonderful colour and detail, but I am not loving the kelp, I think it is the contrast both within the kelp and the kelp to the pup.

I really like this, the pup contrasts so well with the kelp and the detail in the fur is superb! Nice low angle and good solid techs.

Really loving the colours here Andreas, for me, moving to your left and loosing the tail may have offered more cuteness, as the fur is so gorgeous. The rich, deep colours of the kelp adds some great separation and standout.

Neat to see the seal on all that seaweed. Image quality looks very nice. Like the placement of the seal in the frame.

Thanks folks .... appreciating all of your feedback !!!
I am with you Steve ... I am having so much cuteness in other seal pup frames so I thought , post something different . Plus it was not easy to get access to the pup across that wall of kelp .... and I did not want to lay down in the kelp , you should know the reason why !!!
