Like the in your face perspective and those yellow eyes are great. The high key treatment works well.
Well, to tell you the truth, I did not apply high key!!

I like the very unique perspective, but find it too washed out. I would def. tinker with the exposure. I ran a quick luminosity mask to tone down the whites a bit and reveal more detail, esp. on the facial disc. Many ways to treat it, this is just an option.
Cheers

Cool perspective. I love the eyes.

This image has somewhat more texture in the face. I don't like to apply it to much.
Also just bought a new computer and don't have all the programs yet to complete the proces to an optimum.
Something different for sure...I like the way the owl is looking downwards. Must have been a great feeling when the owl kept walking towards you. Randy's RP works better on my monitor.

very interesting a different shoot ..very very nice
Interesting perspective indeed. The eyes are tack sharp and draw us in. In a perfect world the "whiteness" of your original post, combined with a bit more details such as Randy's repost, would be the best result.
P.S. Welcome to BPN!!:S3:
Hi, a lot of sharpness is not there because of the close distance of the bird, combined with an aperture of F7.1. And therefore not much depth of field. Even the feathers around the bill are not sharp. The quality of this published image by the way is lower then on my computerscreen. A part of the details are lost, even in the last uploaded one. Despite the fact that I did more sharpening and clarity to that one. Something to do with the 600 kb?? I've bought myself another program of wich I uses to resize the image and put in some "after sharpening". See if it helps with my new upload. Sorry for the amount of text:bg3:.
