Today was a good day. Dottie and I found a pair of Florida Burrowing Owls only 34 mile from our house, previously we had beed driving 200-250 miles south to photograph them. I chose this composition to show the diminutive size of the Florida Burrowing Owl, at best it is only nine and a half inches tall. This fencepost seems to be the favorite perch. Lovely shot despite the barbed wire. Love the oof flowers. They are tiny, just one of my hand spans.

Love it! What a "cute" owl. I'm fine with the wire too. Really nice BG.

I think it looks great the owl is well defined and the background couldn't be better.

The perch does show the size of the owl very well. Love the color at the bottom in the background. Detail looks quite nice.
