Very sweet preening pose, and I find the brightness much easier on my eyes than on the canvas back. Bird is well exposed too.
Perhaps crop a bit more from the right, and then a balancing crop from top, as all the negative space there doesn't add a lot of context to the image.
One other small thing, I might try to tease out just a little more texture from the water where it is in focus, just to help anchor the bird a bit.

How'd I miss this one. You've been killing these images, but this is my favorite. Just a fantastic feel to this one, IMHO. TFS
