Not sure how to classify this one - there is a lake which started out with captive birds but they are now breeding themselves. There is no containment so they can come and go as they please.
Either way, the Buffleheads normally stay out of range, but as I was lying down at the edge of the water a passer by threw some grain in and this one came close enough for a nearly full framed shot. No more space behind unfortunately, and a little higher than I wanted to be - typically I'd just moved from my favourite spot where you can get down the the water line!
