Came across this one from a few years ago that I don't believe I have posted before. These guys are usually flying around under a local bridge, and I have wasted hours trying to catch them in flight. But this one was kind enough to perch close to me.
D500, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 2500, 1/1250s @ f/7.1 manual.
A beauty, Bill. Great looking bird well captured, with good eye contact and perfect light. Overall tones of the entire frame very pleasing.
