Another from several days ago after the Park Commission prescribed controlled burn in a local grassland area. C&C welcome.

Hi Geoff, good low perspective captured here, and you have captured a good angled pose too. IMHO, I feel the Robin is lost in the surrounding enviroment. The darker colours of the Robin seem lost against the burnt grass.

Tells a story for sure. I would up the exposure some. I like the framing.

I agree with Stu about the bird being lost in the surroundings. Had there been direct light on him, he would have cracked against the charred surroundings. The curious head tilt and open beak
do make for a very engaging look though!
