Nice shot John, critique much the same as previous, in terms of content, focus would appear to be on the antlers, the eye and nose slightly soft. Pleasing colours and tones.
Really beautiful Elk John, and I love the pose here and the colours, and flowers, and that magnificent rack!
Subject a little soft on the face, especially eye. Those two tree trunks in the BG ( the bright one on the RHS and the dark one intersecting the subject's head) detract quite a bit, unfortunately.
Thank you so much for sharing,
Kind regards,
Hi John ... nice rack , lovely colors . Like the mud on the those stags .
But the image does not grab me really , the head turn is a bit unfortunate and the surrounding is kind of slightly distracting . Toning down the backside of the deer might help a bit . The trees in the BG are a bit dominant in tone and color , IMHO . Wondering if the trees are that blue/ cyan in real life .

You have posted such lovely images of some deer ... so expectations might be high !!!
