Two tigers spar at Bandhavgarh, Haseeb has posted from this scene and I will wrong in picking up the 500 instead of 100-400 for this opportunity. But here is a shot with the tiger slapping the brother with his huge paw!

The paw looks huge and doesn't look like it would feel that great. Looks good for the ISO. Framing looks nice as well.

Just a great behavioral capture, Sanjeev. I like the tight-ish framing for this image.
Hi Sanjeev, where was the FP, hopefully bang on the paw? For me you were right on the cusp of nailing the action, I would have gone straight to 1/2500 and worried about any high ISO later, you have a 1DX MKII use it to it's potential Sanjeev. I would look to a square format, colour looks a bit muted.

Hello Sanjeev,
Must have been awesome to see some interaction among those Tigers!
This would make a nice story sequence if you have more...
Yes to a tighter crop for more impact, and a little 'punch' in terms of colour - nice behavioural frame:S3:
Kind regards,

Hi Sanjeev .. must have been great to see the action .
As an image it does not grab me , might be better with a tighter crop ..... but IQ will not hold IMHO !!!
If the eye would have been open , another story and then you would have had the missing impact .
Image does look oversharpened and flat at the same time . The partially flatness ( in front of the head ) might come from OOF vegetation as the flat area appears a bit greenish .
