John this doe looks as though it's the same one as in your previous post - I think? Was the lighting very different in the two images or have you processed them differently to gauge our thoughts? I like this image very much - well exposed sharp and pleasing colours. I may have been tempted to adjust the tones a little in the coat to give a little more expression - if there is any that is.
Hello John,
I like the framing and space in front of the subject. Great BG, good pose, detail is nice from nose to eye - would have loved to see this at F8 :S3:
This is somewhat less 'dramatic' than the previous image you shared, and I notice the colour yellow dominates here. Would be interesting if you could achieve something in-between the two.
Hope you have a great rest of the week, thank you so much for sharing!
Kind regards,
Hi John, you are nailing the detail in both postings which is great. Killer BKG with no distracting elements which just shows off the subject nicely. Now if you can just hone the WB and try not to add Vibrance and work with the HSL panel you should start to get the colour looking better and so it won't 'mask' some of the finer detail.
All I did was adjust the WB going cooler to both WB & Tint, dropped the Exp a fraction, like wise the Vibrance and added a Curves adjustment, WDYT???

Hi John ... this is one stunning portrait . Well done !!!
Love the glossy eye and nose .
The two last posts showing up with a really good IQ in terms of fine detail and sharpness.
Again matter of taste in terms of color and tone , understand Steve´s points and would see them as a very good alternative . For me nothing " wrong " with both versions .

Gorgeous portrait John. I like how the eye really 'pops' and the BG is super. Good light and techs with nice details. Well done.
Thanks Folks. Looks good.
