Hi Doc -- Nice look in the camera.
I think this is not quite up there in terms of IQ. Again the blacks appear a bit heavy as well. Definitely high ISO has affected the outcome in terms of details and I think 1DXMK II might have helped you here instead of the 5D 4.
Lets see what others have to say.
TFS !
I agree Haseeb, I should have backed off on the contrast and opened up more detail in mid tones. Thanks for the feedback. Here is another version.
Hi Sanjeev, agree with Haseeb re OP, but my comments would be as per the previous posting.
Here I just opened the image up by just under a third of a stop, reduce Contrast & Blacks added a bit of White and ran some more NR.
The direct stare on this one is great. Nice those grasses don't cross the face anywhere. Looks good for the ISO.
Hello Sanjeev,
Indeed a looker and I am sure Tiger ladies find him very attractive :bg3: I certainly think he is very handsome and in great shape!
Good POV, nice framing (OP), the eye contact makes this image for me.
In terms of processing Steve's version takes it to where it needs to be, blacks were indeed too heavy and original post appears a tad crunchy. Can't say the high Iso has really harmed this image, judging by his RP.
Lastly, those eyes are truly magnificent and I bet your heart skipped a beat when he looked right at you - love the penetrating stare, well captured!
Kind regards,
Hi Sanjeev .... nice one from the image content POV .
The tiger gave you a pleasing look !! Well timed .
As presented the IQ is missing , no idea about the MK 5 files and what is possible to achieve with them . Color matter of taste .... and question of how the author think the color and tones are about right .
For me the missing finer details , is my major concern .
