Noted Bird Photographer Tries to Smother Pelican!

On a recent trip to a St. Pete rookery on James Shadle's flats boat Hooptie, we saw a young Brown Pelican badly tangled in fishing line and unable to escape the mangroves. After the rescue, James held on tight to the rescued bird prior to releasing it.
