Here's another blur image featuring Royal Spoonbills at my now favourite location. This time I aimed for at least a small amount of clarity in the beaks. Cheers.
7Dii, 100-400@400mm, 1/8th sec, f32, iso100, manual mode HH.
*At f32 I was really pleased to see only 1 small sensor dust spot...easily fixed in post.

Interesting technique! I can see this hanging on a wall somewhere.

You seem to have a knack for these artistic shots. I loved them both. Keep them coming... TFS

I like this one better Paul...Nice colours throughout the image. I would still like to see some more clarity on the heads, but maybe thats just me. Never tried any blurs as yet, so not sure on how to critique them. But visually this one does look better.

Thanks so much David, Gerhard & William. I think it's easy to get addicted to his style!

I understand what you are trying for. Blurs are most time personal choice. It takes lot of images to get a really nice.
This one does not quite work for me.
I thinks due to third bird from the right. May be if all the birds of same orientation then it might be better. Some of my thoughts for next attempt.

Thank you Krishna...I appreciate your feedback. Actually the 3rd bird from the right is one that I like the most:bg3:
