Hi John. Funny you posted this...I've just looked through my photos from today's shoot and have many Terns. I like this one very much...good detail and the BG is lovely. More of a head turn towards you would be my only nit pic. TFS

Hi John, I like the tern, the background and exposure looks spot on. I wish I could see the foot/feet. I think a little higher POV would have been better. Thank you for sharing.
I like the low perspective and the early light. You are right on sun angle but the bird's body is angled away from you a bit. Moving a yard or two to your left might have been a better option.
There is a YELLOW cast...

Great low POV- maybe an inch too low because of the hidden feet.
Love that early morning light. It does create a yellow cast but I like it as presented.
A bit more of a head turn would have been nice. I really like the green in the BG.
