I've been weeding through some old files, and have come up with a number of them that I've never posted to BPN. Here's one from early May, 2017.

The pose is solid and the background as well. Like the composition with plenty of room around the bird.
Love this one Bill...perfect head turn, lovely colouring on the bird, cute how the claw is grabbing the perch. BG is very nice. TFS
I like the bird, but the BG looks a bit unnatural to me, looks like you blurred it. there are some masking / clone artifacts around the bird.

These beauties are so hard to catch, let alone catch with such a nice look back pose. TFS
Hi Bill, lovely little bird. They are always in motion so you did well. I agree with Arash that something appears a little funky with the background. Thank you for sharing.
Stunning bird and sharpness and oh what a perfect pose! The BKGR looks fine to me. Did you do any blurring or cloning???
with love, a
Thank you for your comments. This was a few years ago, and I don't recall exactly what I did with it. I know I took out several errant twigs, and it appears to me that I must have done a bit of blur. I do see one artifact near the bird's back that I must have missed in the PP.
