Bill, great job braving the elements, this duck looks similar to a Greater Scaup. That glowing eye really draws your attention, nice.

This is an interesting monochrome study with the only color being that piercing eye. Good shot.
Ah that famous duck swimming away but looking back pose:S3:. Perhaps a touch dark overall, but as Colin mentions, that yellow eye pops nicely against an otherwise monochromatic look.
The blacks looks heavy but they make that yellow eye pop very nicely. Composition is right on.
I like the dark stormy look although I would clean up the white spots (snowflakes?) in the BG.
