I photographed the Tri-colored Heron dip fishing at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. After catching a fish (as this one has) the wings beat hard and fast to clear the water. When in the air the bird flips the fish into the air catching it in it's bill followed by swallowing the catch. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Good action Joe, not much of a meal though for the big bird. The blue looks a bit cyan but I have no idea what your sky color is.

Yes I agree action good but I think the colour balance is a little awry. I suspect the whites on the shoulder are blown - are they rcoverable?

Great dynamic capture, Joe. I know that Florida blue is intense, but I might consider desaturating the water just a bit.

Really like that blue and yellow. The action is nice and the fish as well. Light looks nice also.

Colin and Jonathan, thank you for lending your eyes and suggesting improvement of the image. I started from scratch this morning and processed the image again. Here is a repost.
P.S. Just wondering what Internet Browser do you use? I use Google Chrome and go back and forth on using hardware acceleration. I also notice that sometimes posting a image appears to add saturation when compared to the image in Lightroom.

Excellent action!! I love all that splashing action, as well as the concentric circles. I think only the water needed to be desaturated as I prefer the colours of the heron in the OP. Another option here would be to darken the pupil.
