Taken last Sunday at a PNW intertidal area. Wish I had a better head turn. Mild cloning of water distractors.
I am still seeing some brightness reduction and increased blue saturation between viewing jpg on computer and after posting on BPN.
iso 400, 100-400 plus 1.4 extender at 550 mm, f8, 2000th, A7R3, HH, 50% of full frame, mid morning.

Nice details and sheen on feathers... I like the setting, wish for a bit of head turn.
You had nice light at the coast..

I do not like the setting. Was the RAW under-exposed? The color in the repost looks quite funky.

Yes to a better head angle, and yes to a better setting. The water at leg level is nice, but the bottom part of the frame is too heavily laced with muck. You do have nice details on the feathers.
Agree with the others. The low angle is nice.
