Nice smiling flight shot, with great wing position. Is the yellow inside the far wing natural, or is it somehow a result of desaturating the blue shadows?

Thanks Bill, yes the yellow is there as this shot shows. Just a quick and dirty bit of processing so not up for critique!

Both images well captured, Colin. Beautiful subtle coloring.
Beautiful exposure and detail, in both shots. I prefer the first with front-thrown wings, and I agree with Arash that the bird needs more space all around but particularly below and in front.
